Doors Collagraph

I have a fascination with doors. I cut this collagraph from mat board very quickly and simply. I almost didn't print it because I had too much other work to do, but I couldn't resist seeing it on paper. I ended up loving it, for its simplicity, I think, because the majority of my work tends to be very detailed, sometimes overly complicated. I find I am in a constant struggle of knowing when to stop. Some pieces improve with more time, but I end up hating pieces that have been overworked. I love this piece because I haven't ruined it.
